Stanley scores 30 in Hendrix's 84-70 win

CONWAY, Ark. - Hendrix defeated Birmingham-Southern (Ala.), 84-70, on Friday in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) action inside Grove Gymnasium.

The Warriors' Seth Stanley scored a game-high 30 points on 12-of-21 shooting, including a 4-of-9 effort from deep. Darvis Rasberry Jr. ended with 15 points on a 7-of-11 clip from the floor to go along with six rebounds. Sean Coman added 14 points and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the foul line.

Stanley and Coman each dished out five assists, while Rasberry Jr., Tyler Deithloff and Jonathan Ryan each had three. Thad McCracken's squad totaled 23 assists on 31 made field goals.

Alex Conrad had four blocks in the win, while Stanley and Coman each had two. The Warriors totaled 10.

Ryan had three of his team's eight steals.

Hendrix (14-9, 7-5 SAA) shot 47 percent (31-of-66) overall, 40 percent (10-of-25) from 3 and 75 percent (12-of-16) from the free throw line. The Warriors held an edge in rebounds (42-35), points off turnovers (13-9) and fastbreak points (18-14).

Luke Touliatos scored 20 points on 9-of-17 shooting for the Panthers. Cameron Glover had 18 points. Christian Stewart added a double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Birmingham-Southern (10-12, 5-6 SAA) shot 41.5 percent (27-of-65) overall, 30 percent (6-of-20) from beyond the arc and 76.9 percent (10-of-13) from the charity stripe.

Each team had 30 points in the paint and 11 second chance points.

Prior to the the contest, Stanley, Coman, Conrad, Carl Fitch and Jack Eaton were recognized as part of Senior Night festivities.

The Warriors' final game this season inside Grove Gymnasium takes place Feb. 13 against Millsaps (Miss.). Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. CT.
