CLARKSVILLE, Ark. - Hendrix defeated Ozarks (Ark.), 17-13, on Tuesday, snapping a three-game losing streak at Lonnie Qualls Field.
Tuesday marked the most runs scored by the Orange and Black since a 19-18 loss to Southwestern (Texas) on April 9, 2011, four days after an 18-12 win over the Eagles.
Hendrix (4-0) is off to its best start since 2003, when the Warriors also won their first four contests. The Orange and Black also eclipsed their previous best start under
R.J. Thomas, when the Warriors opened the 2010 campaign 3-0.
Hendrix totaled 15 RBIs, seven stolen bases, eight steal attempts, 23 total bases, 43 at-bats and eight walks.
Kyle Kirk's had six at-bats.
Adam Bland had three runs scored.
Rail Gilliam had six total bases.

Zach Marriott each had two hits, as the Orange and Black pounded out 14. Gilliam, Olivi, Marriott,
Juan Pablo Leon and
Drake Job each crossed home plate twice. Bland, Job and Kirk drove in three runs apiece. Bland and Job each induced two walks.
Joseph Watts stole a pair of bags.
The Warriors built a 17-5 lead midway through the seventh inning. Bland (1) took Easton Rose deep in the top of the second for a two-run shot. Gilliam (1) turned a Grant Cross offering into a two-run bomb as part of a six-run fourth.
Hendrix's
Jacob Wagner made the start on the mound but got a no decision after tossing four innings, allowing two earned runs on four hits with four strikeouts.
Will Graves (1-0) earned the win with an inning of relief, giving up three runs, one earned, on three hits with a strikeout.Â
James Cross and Rennie Arjona each batted 3-for-6 for the Eagles. Cross had three RBIs. Arjona scored three times.
Ozarks (0-1) totaled 17 hits but committed six errors.
Rose pitched the first two innings but took a no decision, surrendering two earned runs on one hit with three walks. G. Cross (0-1) suffered the loss after giving up six runs, two earned, on four hits with a walk and wild pitch in 1.2 innings of relief. Nicholas Bennett, Zackary Brizendine and Connor Rowe each allowed three runs out of the bullpen.
Eagles' pitchers totaled three wild pitches and two hit batters.
The Warriors host Nebraska Wesleyan for a three-game series Feb. 19-20, starting with a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. CT at Warrior Baseball Field.
