Volleyball Travels to Georgia for SAA Matchups

Conway, Ark.- Currently riding a three game win streak, the Warriors will look to keep momentum going as they travel to Georgia to take on Oglethorpe & Berry. 

The Warriors enter the weekend with an overall record of 9-10 with a 5-5 record in conference play. The Warriors come in with 883 total kills on the season, averaging 12.6 kills per set. Hendrix has registered 820 assists on the season, averaging 11.7 assists per set. Camryn Presley leads the team in kills with 162, while Carys Shock & Perri Evans each have over 100 kills. Kyler Greenlee leads the Warriors with 413 assists, with  Adilynn Henry has 304. Sam Friedl & Greenlee are currently tied for a team lead in service aces, with the duo having 28 apiece. Friedl also leads the team in digs with 233, while Camryn Presley is second on the team with 219. The Warriors lead the SAA in points, assists & kills. Hendrix is currently tied for 3rd in the SAA. With a win over Oglethorpe, the Warriors would hold a top 4 standing in the SAA. 

Oglethorpe

The Stormy Petrels come into the weekend with a record of 9-7 with a 4-6 record in SAA play. Oglethorpe comes in with 712 total kills, averaging 12.1 kills per set. The Stormy Petrels have registered 678 assists, averaging 11.5 assists per set. Oglethorpe has had a very balanced attack, with Ashlynn Stephens, Cate Rosenthal & Briella Kohler all at the top for the Petrels in kills. Autumn Lilly & Gabbi Phillips are at the top of assists for the Oglethorpe, with Lilly having 311 & Phillips with 247. This will be the 64th matchup between the two schools, with the Warriors leading the series 43-20. In their last matchup, the Warriors were swept in three sets by a score of 3-0. The match is set for Saturday at 11:00 AM CT. 

Berry

The Vikings currently have a record of 16-4 & a 10-0 record in the SAA. The Vikings have 873 kills on the season, averaging 11.8 kills per set. The Vikings have 789 assists on the season, averaging 10.7 assists per set. Berry has been strong around the net, registering 155.5 blocks with 2.1 blocks per set. Jazzy Innis has been special this season, leading the team in kills (219) & is second on the team in digs (207). Innis is also 4th in the SAA in kills & points. Lindsey MacDiarmid leads the team in assists with 625, which is second in the SAA. Olivia Mallow & Bella Boston are tied for the team lead in blocks with 56 apiece. Kate Whittle leads the team/SAA in digs with 380 on the season. This will be the 29th matchup between the two, with the Vikings leading the series 21-7. In their last matchup, the Vikings took the match 3-1 in Conway. The match is set for Sunday at 11:00 AM CT.
