Memphis, Tenn. - Hendrix hit the road to Memphis for an all-important season finale versus Rhodes, with the winner of the match clinching the #3 seed in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) postseason tournament.
The Warriors suffered a first-half goal just over halfway through the first half and went into halftime trailing by one.
Rhodes would add a second shortly after the second half began, preventing Hendrix from gaining a foothold back into the match. The Lynx netted a third in the 63' to seal the three points and clinch the third seed.
Kennedy Lewis was called into action 8 times, making 5 saves. The Warriors were unable to generate much threat on the Rhodes goal, only managing 3 shots on target through 90 minutes.
Despite the loss, Hendrix clinched the right to host a first-round playoff game last week with its win over Oglethorpe, and will enter postseason play as the #4 seed in the SAA. The Warriors will host the Stormy Petrals in their first-round matchup on Saturday, October 28.
