Dallas, Texas - Hendrix picked up its first win of the 2023-24 regular season after defeating the Dallas Crusaders 70-62 at the Maher Center on Monday night.
The Warriors trailed by eight late in the first half -- 34-28 -- but a
Colten Berry layup cut the deficit to 5 before a

Tyler Deithloff's long ball at 14:24 in the second half tied the affair at 40-40, with
Drew Mayo's layup just a minute later giving the Warriors the lead.
Dallas would go on a mid-half run to take a 50-46 lead, but
Jonathan Ryan responded with 5 points in quick succession to help re-take the lead with 6:56 remaining. The Warriors would never trail after that, going on remarkable 18-3 run to take a commanding 64-53 lead late in the game.
Deithloff led all scorers with 19 points. He backed up that total with 6 rebounds.
Colton McMullin and
Jonathan Ryan added 9 points each off the bench, while Danield Cobb, Berry, and Mayo finished the evening with 8 points a piece. Berry came up big on the glass as well, grabbing 9 boards.
