Conway, Ark. - Hendrix met up with the Lyon Scots for the second time in as many weeks and avenged their Nov. 30 loss to the Scots with a fantastic shooting display en route to a 74-64 win.
It was Hendrix's first home win of the season after dropping their first two contests at Grove Gymnasium.
Tyler Deithloff led all scorers with 20 points and 7 boards.
Colton McMullin provided a season-high 18 points off the bench after shooting 4-of-7 from behind the arc. Of note, the senior guard nailed a three while being fouled in the act of shooting on two separate occasions, and was able to complete the four-point play both times.
Caleb Squires ended the night in double-figures as well after posting 16 points with 3 assists.
Colten Berry backed that up with a 9-and-7 performance.
The Warriors put together what was their best offensive performance of the season to date by shooting 46.7% from the field and knocking down 10 of their 25 attempts from deep while shooting just 57% from the stripe.
Hendrix got 24 points from its bench and 14 off turnovers after turning the Scots over 11 times.
The win improves Hendrix to 2-6 (0-1 Southern Athletic Association) on the year. They will be back in action next Wednesday when they host the Dallas Crusaders in the return leg of their home-and-home series on Dec. 20. The Warriors defeated Dallas 70-62 in Irving back on Nov. 13 in what was their lone win before tonight's victory.
