Longview, Tex.- The Warriors traveled to square off against LeTourneau for a Saturday doubleheader for their second weekend of play.
Game 1: The Warriors offense struggled to get much going early in the game against LeTourneau despite tallying nine hits. Both Aubrey Lee and Grace Bryant collected a pair of hits, both of Lee's being good for extra bases as well as one of Bryant's. The second of Aubrey Lee's doubles drove home the second and third Warrior runs of the game. Grace Bryant was responsible for the other Warrior RBI. Some timely LeTourneau hits combined with five walks and some defensive miscues hurt the Warriors down the stretch. LeTourneau won game 1 by a score of 7-3. Makayla Ragland picked up her first loss of the season.
Game 2: The Warriors outhit LeTourneau in game 2, posting 8 hits to their 7, but this wasn't quite enough. Aubrey Lee and Betty Wolfe had incredible showings at the plate, both notching 3 hits including a double each. Grace Bryant and Paizley Vaught each collected a hit, but the bats of the rest of the Warrior lineup fell silent to a solid LeTourneau pitching staff. LeTourneau was incredibly aggressive on the base paths, stealing a total of 6 bases to the Warriors' 1 stolen base. LeTourneau took game 2 9-3.
