Conway, Ark. - Hendrix hosted Birmingham-Southern (BSC) and Millsaps at the Hatcher Tennis Center last weekend for the Warrirors' penultimate homestand of the 2022-23 season.
Hendrix lost to BSC 8-1 on Saturday before dropping a tight 5-4 match to Millsaps the following day.
Agustin Kalinowski won both his matches in the No. 1 singles, defeating BSC's Will Dotson 6-3, 6-4 and dispatching Millsaps' Josh Kimball 6-1, 6-1.
Kalinowski also helped secure a doubles victory versus Millsaps with
Eric Meyne as they defeated the Majors' No. 1 pairing 8-4.
The Warriors got wins from
Elijah Pierce in the No. 3 singles [7-6 (7-3), 6-2) and
Eric Meyne in the No. 5 singles (6-3, 6-4).
Hendrix will host conference matches with Oglethorpe and Berry next weekend before Southern Athletic Association (SAA) tournament play begins.
