Box Score <strong>Conway, Ark. -</strong> The Hendrix Warriors fell to 0-7 in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) after a 83-76 loss to Sewanee on Sunday afternoon at Juhan Gymnasium.<br /> <br /> Hendrix trailed by as many as 15 in the contest when Sewanee led 34-19 late in the first half, but routinely fought back to keep the score close, with Simone Shields' jumper at the buzzer trimming the Tigers' lead to four heading into the halftime break.<br /> <br /> The Warriors brought the score to within two early in the second half, but could never quite capitalize on a couple scoring runs to keep pace with the home side down the stretch.<br /> <br /> Riley Brady led the Warriors with 16 points and 12 rebounds to record her second consecutive double-double.<br /> <br /> Megan Gray notched 15 points to tie her career-high, which she set a year ago against the Tigers.<br /> <br /> Ava Knoedl knocked down four three-pointers on her way to 14 points.<br /> <br /> The loss drops the Warriors to 2-16 (0-7 SAA), and they will now return home to host Centre and Sewanee next weekend for an SAA doubleheader. Tip-off against Centre is set for 6:00 PM at Grove Gymnasium.
