Atlanta, Ga. - Hendrix lost its sixth-consecutive match in league play on Saturday with a 3-1 defeat at Oglethorpe.
The Warriors led 17-12 in the first set before Oglethorpe won 10 of the next 13 points to take a 22-20 lead. Hendrix fought off two set points to trim the Stormy Petrels' lead to one, but ultimately relinquished the next point to drop the first set 25-23.

Hendrix kept the match alive with a dominant 25-13 win in the third set that was highlighted by an 11-point run midway through the second set.
The Warriors looked to be in position again to take a set in the fourth with the score at 22-20, but Oglethorpe stormed back with a 4-point run to take a 24-22 lead. An attacking error would keep Hendrix alive for another point, but they would eventually drop the fourth and final set 25-23.
Riley Brady led the Warriors with 12 kills.
Ana Bastos had 9 kills and 2 service aces.
Mary Addisyn Stubbs led all participants with 4 service aces, which was one away from tying a career-high for the sophomore.
