Sewanee, Tenn. - Hendrix's season came to an end on Saturday evening with a 5-2 loss to Sewanee in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championships Quarterfinal.

The Warriors surrendered two goals within the opening ten minutes and quickly dug themselves into a hole they would not be able to climb out of. Sewanee increased their lead with a third goal midway through the half, and tacked on another on the stroke of halftime for a 4-0 lead.

The Tigers opened the second half the same way they opened the first half with another quick goal.

Hendrix finally got on the board in the 56th minute as Jensen Pechar netted his 7th goal of the season. Will Kelton added another for the Orange and Black five minutes from time, but it was academic at that point.

Hendrix closes the 2024 season 5-7-4 (1-3-2 SAA).
