Women's Basketball Looks for Season Sweep at Dallas

CONWAY, Ark. - Back on the road for the fourth time in five games, Hendrix heads to Irving, Texas for a rematch with the University of Dallas on Friday.

Wes Sullivan's Warriors defeated Dallas 91-81 on November 17 at Grove Gymnasium to halt a four-game losing streak to the Crusaders. Hendrix is winless in their last three trips to the Maher Center, and 4-4 since 2014. The Warriors lead the modern-era series 10-6.

Ava Knoedl lit up the Crusaders for a season-high 24 points in their meeting earlier this season. Brailey Forst put together 22 points and 11 rebounds in what was her fourth-consecutive double-double to open the season. Hendrix led by as many as 25 in the fourth quarter before calling off the dogs in what was a dominant showing for the Orange and Black. f

Dallas has yet to find the win column this season. They will face Millsaps on Wednesday night looking to stop the bleeding after dropping contests to Hardin-Simmons and Howard Payne two weeks ago. The Crusaders are averaging 65.2 points per game while surrendering 85.2 points per game to opponents.

On the other hand, Hendrix is averaging 70.7 points per game, which ranks tied for third in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA), and have hit more than 75 points in four of their first ten games. Their 6-4 start is the best through 10 games since the 2018-19 season.

Knoedl currently ranks 6th in the SAA with 14.1 points per game. Riley Brady is averaging 12.1 points and 10.4 rebounds per game in 5 games played. She made her first start of the season versus Arkansas Baptist back on December 7 as she settles into the team after returning from a phenomenal volleyball season.

Friday's contest marks the last time these two programs will meet as non-conference foes before Hendrix rejoins the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) in 2025-26. Hendrix is 4-2 against SCAC opponents this season.

Tip-off against the Crusaders is set for 7:30 PM on Friday. The game will be streamed on FloCollege, with live stats available online.
