Rome, Ga. - Hendrix's run in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) ended early with a 96-46 loss to top-seeded Berry on Sunday afternoon at the Cage Center.
The Vikings opened the game with a 17-2 run and never looked back on their way to a dominant 52-29 lead at the end of the first half.
It would fare no better for the Warriors in the second half as they were outscored 44-17.
Darvis Rasberry, Jr. and
Houston Likens led Hendrix with 8 points each.
Tyler Deithloff and
Jonathan Ryan each recorded 7 points.
The loss puts a wrap on what was a disappointing 6-20 (3-11 SAA) 2023-24 season for the Warriors, one that was marred by injury woes.
