Conway, Ark. - Hendrix hosted Dominican (Ill.) and Millikin for a pair of contests on Saturday and dropped both games 14-13 and 4-3, respectively.
Game 1 vs Dominican (L, 14-13)
The Warriors were unlucky to come away with a win against Dominican (Ill.), with the home side racing out to a 13-2 lead in the bottom of the third. However, that would be all that Hendrix could muster as the game progressed as Dominican plated 12 runs across the subsequent six innings to complete the comeback win.
David Blackburn got the start on the mound and went three full innings, surrendering just three runs on seven hits.
Ryan Torres was the pitcher of record after entering in the top of the 8th and pitching 1.1 IP. He was the seventh of eight pitchers that Hendrix utilized on the day.
At the plate,
Drake Job led the Warriors with three runs batted in off a 2-for-6 performance.
Shaun Pope and
Hogan Ralston each knocked in a couple runs with two hits a piece.
Adam Bland and
Austin Rabago also had two-hit performances with one RBI each.
Game 2 vs Millikin (L, 4-3)
Bryson Bales toed the rubber in Saturday's nightcap and was the pitcher of record after giving up four runs in four innings of work while striking out seven.
Aiden Leggett recorded three strikeouts in 2.0 IP on the mound, and
JD Nichols struck out two of the three batters he faced in the ninth before exiting.
Job led the Warriors again with two hits on three official at-bats.
Bland,
Joseph Watts,
Diego Alvarado, and
Owen Shaw each recorded a hit, with the latter driving in two runs on a walk and a single in his two plate appearances.

The Warriors will remain in Conway for a midweek contest versus Ozarks this Tuesday at Warrior Baseball Field before hosting a three-game series versus the University of St. Thomas on March 1-3.
