Birmingham, Ala. - Hendrix was run-ruled 16-1 in Game 3 of its weekend series with Birmingham-Southern (BSC).

The Panthers plated four runs in the 2nd to take a 4-0 lead, before Rylie Harris got the Warriors on the board in the 3rd with an RBI single to score Sam Wood.

But that would be all the Warriors could muster on Sunday afternoon as BSC scored twelve unanswered to bring the mercy rule into effect.

Betty Wolfe, Kendyl Patton, Tori Maldonado, Wood, and Harris each recorded a hit on the day.

Sadie Lewis was the pitcher of record after getting the start in the circle. Lewis surrendered nine runs (seven earned) on four hits in 2.0 IP.

The loss drops Hendrix to 3-12 (0-6 SAA). They will head to Mississippi for a midweek doubleheader with the Mississippi University for Women on Thursday.
