Sewanee, Tenn. - Hendrix fell 19-13 to Sewanee at Puett Field on Saturday afternoon to wrap up the 2024 regular season.

The Warriors got the scoring started with two goals from Peyton Refling. The hosts responded with four unanswered goals, before Alaina Palmer broke the run with her first goal of the match.

Goals from Refling and Asia Mackey cut the Tigers' lead to 8-5 with 3:37 left in the first half, but Sewanee answered back with a 3-0 run to close out the first half.

Refling and Palmer netted the opening two goals of the second half, with Refling adding two more goals in the third period.

Palmer netted the first goal of the fourth period to trim the hosts' lead to 14-10. Refling scored three more in the final period to take her up to a game-high nine goals on the afternoon, but that would be all the scoring for the Warriors in the final 15 minutes.

Mackey ended the afternoon with five points on one goal and four assists. Palmer tallied three goals and an assist.

Addey Bolz recorded eleven saves in goal.

The loss locks Hendrix into the 8th seed in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) tournament. The Warriors will be on the road to begin tournament play in two weeks.
