Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Hendrix's men's basketball traveled east on its first conference road trip of the season to take on two of the top teams in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA), Centre and Sewanee.

Friday vs Centre (L, 78-59)
Hendrix struggled out of the gates on Friday night, trailing 48-23 at halftime after shooting an astonishing 1-15 from 3PT. The Warriors outscored the Colonels 36-30 in the second half, but that was the only bright spot on a night where Hendrix was simply outmatched. Centre shot nearly 45% from the field and hit 10-of-26 from behind the arc. The Warriors warmed up from distance in the second half, shooting 6-of-14 from deep and 42% from the field.

Tyler Deithloff led the Warriors with 13 points. Beau Kronenberger finished with 11 points on 3-of-8 shooting from distance. Jaxon Herrera notched 10 points with a couple triples.

Sunday vs Sewanee (L, 92-83)
The Warriors traded blows with the defending SAA champions for a majority of the contest, overcoming a 10-point deficit on multiple occasions to keep the game within reach. Deithloff's rebound and put-back with 2:53 remaining cut Sewanee's lead to 83-81, but the Tigers were able to use a 9-2 scoring run to close the game.

Deithloff led Hendrix with a season-high 28 points on 11-of-19 shooting. Herrera scored 14 points, while Beau Kronenberger finished with 12 points.
