Conway, Ark. - Hendrix kicked off Homecoming weekend with a bang as the Warriors bagged a thrilling 1-0 win over Schreiner on Friday night at Warrior Soccer Field.

Sarah Jones headed in Samantha Barrett's corner with just over two minutes remaining in regulation to give the Warriors a late winner in a match that did not see many threatening efforts from either side.

Hendrix outshot the Mountaineers 12-1 on the evening, with five of the host's shots being put on frame. Kennedy Lewis got a few touches of the ball but was not called into action for any saves over the course of the five minutes en route to a second shutout for the junior in league play.

The win improves Hendrix to 4-5-2 and 2-2 in league play. The Warriors will host McMurry on Sunday at Warrior Soccer Field to round out Homecoming festivities.
