Clarksville, Ark. - Hendrix wasted little time disposing of Ozarks in the program's first-ever trip to Clarksville, defeating the Eagles in three sets and clinching the SCAC Blue Division crown in the process.
The Warriors limited Ozarks to just 30 points across the three sets, twice holding the hosts to 12 points or under in a set.
Riley Brady led Hendrix with 11 kills, with
Perri Evans also finishing in double-figures with 10 kills. Evans hit a remarkable 0.769 on 13 total attacks; Brady hit 0.563. The Warriors hit 0.368 as a team, while Ozarks hit just 0.022 on the afternoon.
Adilynn Henry assisted on 24 of Hendrix's points.
Defensively, Hendrix recorded 3 blocks to Ozarks' 1, with Evans and
Hailey Gripka each tallying two block assists.
Faith Jones led all participants with 11 digs in limited action.
Hendrix improves to 18-4 and 12-2 in the SCAC. With Austin College's 3-0 loss to LeTourneau on Saturday,
Brittany Newberry's side officially clinched a share of the SCAC Blue Division, and currently sit tied for first in the league.
