Suwanee, Ga. - Hendrix College had 15 representatives on the 2025 All-SCAC football teams that were announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
The selections were highlighted by
Westin Bruce,
Jacob Buniff,
Jayvian Coulter,
Tristian Johnson,
Ryan Maxwell,
Jayger Rainwater,
Auvic White, and
Matthew Winger, who were all named All-SCAC first team in Hendrix's first season back in the SCAC.
Bruce, Buniff, and White all led the league in touchdowns in their respective position categories. White also picked up four votes for SCAC Offensive Player of the Year. Rainwater was named All-SCAC after an outstanding freshman year, hauling in 14 receptions for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns in 8 appearances. Winger spearheaded an offensive line that helped the Warriors to a league-leading 446.5 total offensive yards per game and 1,277 rushing yards.
On defense, Maxwell and Coulter were two of the league's premier defenders, with Maxwell earning three votes for SCAC Defensive Player of the Year. The senior recorded a single-season ecord 7 interceptions on the year and also set the program career mark in interceptions and pass break-ups. Coulter led the Warriors with a team-high 72 tackles, finishing third in the league in tackles per game, while also recording 5 tackles-for-loss as well as an interception and 3 forced fumbles.
Tristian Johnson landed on the All-SCAC first team as a defensive lineman with 6.5 tackles-for-loss and 3.0 sacks.
Jake Blice was named honorable mention to give Hendrix two quarterbacks on the All-Conference list. Blice finished fourth in the league with 13 passing touchdowns, including a career-high five touchdowns in the Warriors' regular season finale versus Lyon on SCAC Championship Weekend.
Brooks McGee earned three votes for SCAC First-Year Player of the Year after recording 8 touchdowns, including a league-leading 7 touchdowns in conference play.
Jaedin Kim was the other newcomer to earn All-SCAC recognition on offense, with a majority of his contributions coming on special teams, including a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown against Centenary.
Jackson Stiles joined Winger on the list of offensive linemen to earn All-SCAC honors.
Brooks Etheridge and
Mason Johnson rounded out the All-SCAC selections on defense. Etheridge led the Warriors with 7.5 tackles-for-loss and 6 quarterback hurries, while Johnson recorded 3.0 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery.
On special teams,
Joshua Gil earned All-SCAC recognition after averaging 37.3 yards per punt with a long of 67, with 5 punts of 50 yards or more and 8 punts landing inside the 20 yard line.
