Sherman, Texas - A day after clinching the SCAC Blue Division title, Hendrix closed the regular season with a five-set loss to Austin College on Sunday afternoon at Hughey Gymnasium.
The Warriors rallied after losing the first set 25-18 to win the next two sets 25-12 and 25-21. The match went to a fifth set after the hosts won the fourth set 25-19, and the 'Roos jumped out to an early lead in the final set en route to a 15-12 victory.
Riley Brady led all participants with 20 kills over the four sets and clinched a double-double with 16 digs.
Camryn Kennedy backed up Brady's kill-count with 15 of her own, hitting .306 on 36 total attacks.
Mary Addisyn Stubbs recorded a game-high 31 digs, while
Hailey Gripka tallied 5.0 blocks.
Adilynn Henry assisted on 34 points, and
Lily Meyer contributed 19 assists.
As a team, Hendrix hit .213 on 183 total attacks and recorded 9 blocks, while the 'Roos hit .216 with four less attack errors than the visitors.
Hendrix ends the 2025 regular season at 19-6 and 13-3 in league play with the SCAC Blue Division crown in hand. The Warriors now set their sights on the postseason next week as they travel to Kerrville, Texas to compete in the SCAC tournament.
