SB | Softball Releases 2026 Schedule

Conway, Ark. - The Hendrix softball program has announced its 2026 schedule.

In her second season at the helm, Kara LeLeux will guide the Warriors through a 42-game slate that features ten conference series in the program's first season back in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference after a 12-year spell in the Southern Athletic Association.

Hendrix begins the season in Memphis, Tenn. with four tuneup contests split between the Mississippi University for Women and Rhodes. They will then dive right into conference play with a home series versus St. Thomas (TX) before heading up Interstate-40 the following week for a road series versus the University of the Ozarks.

The Warriors will take a break from league play the following weekend with their first nonconference doubleheader of the season on February 28 as they head to Batesville to take on Lyon College. Their lengthy spell on the road continues the week after in Louisiana with a three-game series versus Centenary.

Hendrix returns home for a ten-game homestand beginning on March 12 with a midweek doubleheader versus Millsaps before hosting Schreiner for a weekend series. The Warriors then host Lyon for the return doubleheader fixture before welcoming McMurry to Conway to wrap up the homestand. After a road series at Concordia Texas, Hendrix will host Central Baptist College for a midweek doubleheader before hosting the University of Dallas April 3-4. The Warriors head back to Texas the following week for a series versus Texas Lutheran, then return home for the final home series of the season as they host LeTourneau April 17-18.

The Warriors will wrap up the 2026 regular season on the road versus Austin College in Sherman, Texas. The 2026 SCAC tournament will be hosted by McMurry in Abilene May 1-3.

Hendrix returns three 2025 All-SAA selections, including Rylee Harris, who earned an All-SAA first team selection after a phenomenal sophomore campaign in which the middle infielder slashed .330/.370/.482 with 15 runs batted-in and 3 home runs. Kaycee Schoen returns after a breakout freshman season when she led the team with 5 homers and 20 runs batted-in.

LeLeux guided the Warriors to 13 wins last season in her inaugural year at the helm, the most wins for the program since 2022. She also led Hendrix to two wins in the SAA tournament. The Warriors had failed to win a postseason contest in the prior two seasons.
