Paragould, Ark. - Hendrix dominated from start to finish in an 80-55 win over Crowley's Ridge on Tuesday afternoon in the Warriors' final nonconference tuneup before conference play starts.
Wes Sullivan's side were prolific on both ends of the court, combining hot shooting with stingy defense that eventually overwhelmed the hosts.
Lyndi Bryan led all scorers with a career-high 20 points to highlight one of the better shooting days Hendrix has had to date. Bryan finished 8-of-13 from the field and knocked down a career-high three triples.
Riley Brady,
Brooklyn Rowe, and
Chloey-Rei Brown joined Bryan in double-figures. Brady and Rowe each finished with 13 points. Like Bryan, Rowe also knocked down three triples, while Brady was a clinical 4-of-5 from the field.
As a team, Hendrix shot 41.9% from the field and 42.9% (9-21) from behind the arc, including going 4-for-7 from deep in the first quarter. Both teams grabbed 39 rebounds, while Hendrix's defense turned Crowley's Ridge over 27 times.
Brailey Forst recorded a game-high 4 steals, and Rowe finished with 3 takeaways as Hendrix capitalized on their stellar defense with 40 points off of turnovers.
The Warriors also got a massive boost offensively with 37 bench points.
Hendrix (4-4) will begin conference play on January 2 as they head to Clarksville to take on in-state foe Ozarks.
