St. Louis, Mo. - Hendrix opened up the 2025 regular season on Saturday against Carthage in a neutral site contest, losing 20-1 to the Firebirds.

Nick Quarles scored the lone goal for the Warriors with 0:25 remaining in regulation.

Ian Domeika recorded 17 saves in goal. Kellen Harger made 1 save in relief of Domeika.

Zachary Cox led Hendrix with 3 ground balls, while Nick Pesce and Jacob Antoon each recorded a caused turnoever. Offensively, Quarles, Joesph Davis, and Austin Williams each placed 3 shots on goal. 

Hendrix will remain on the road next weekend as they head to Georgetown, Texas for an early Southern Athletic Association tilt with Southwestern University.
