Danville, Ky. - Hendrix men's and women's swimming and diving opened up the 2025 SAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday afternoon at Champions Hall on the campus of Centre College. The men finished the day in fifth after picking up 72 points, while the women sit in sixth with 54 points.
Hendrix women received 26 points with a sixth place finish in the Women's 200 Yard Medley Relay. The relay team consisted of
Allyna Bright,
Emma Sampson-Green,
Elizabeth Barry, and
Addi Heck. Barry and Heck joined Cece Werth and
Olivia Henry on the Women's 800 Yard Freestyle Relay team that finished fifth with a time of 8:30.78.
The Hendrix men got a fifth place finish from
Owen Vennerholm,
Tyler Hinrichsen,
Zane Shaner, and
Diogo Sa in the Men's 200 Yard Medley Relay.
Blake Cookson,
Ryan Gentile,
Landon Hardister, and
Konner Schneider won their team 8 more points in the B-Final of the 200 Yard Medley Relay.
Schneider, Sa,
Nick Allen, and
Cason LeLeux gave the Water Warriors a fifth place finish in the Men's 800 Yard Freestyle Relay.
Jordan Buchanan,
Cohen Calogero,
Peter Garrison, and Hardister finished 13th with a time of 7:44.04.
