Conway, Ark. - Hendrix's women's lacrosse program opened up the 2025 regular season with a loss to Culver-Stockton on a wet and windy Saturday afternoon at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium.

Celina Owens-Campbell opened up her account for the season with an unassisted goal with a minute remaining in the quarter.
After the Wildcats took a 6-1 lead early in the second quarter,
Sophia Smith took advantage of a man-up situation and netted her first goal of the season. Trailing 7-2,
Kinley Robinson and
Peyton Refling both got on the scoresheet to cut the deficit to three. The Warriors went into halftime trailing 9-4.
Culver-Stockton scored four minutes into the second half for a six-goal advantage before the Warriors kicked into gear.
Samantha Shrader scored in her collegiate debut to kick off a 4-0 scoring run that included a second goal from Robinson and two more from Refling. The Wildcats responded with 10:27 remaining in the final quarter to make it 11-8 with what was the ultimately the final goal of the match.
Addey Bolz made 8 saves in the losing effort, while the Warriors won 12 of 22 draw controls.
