Conway, Ark.- Hendrix hosted the Rams of Cornell College Saturday afternoon, taking down Cornell 9-3 for the best start in Women's Lacrosse history.

Cornell got the scoring started with an early goal before Celina Owens-Campbell got the Warriors on the board with 2 goals. The Rams would even things up before Kasha Graham would put the Warriors upfront before the first quarter ended.

Eliza Thacker would add an early goal to start the second, before Cornell would add another to keep the contest close, however that would be the final goal for the Rams as Samantha Shrader would add another goal for the Warriors before the half.

The second half was all Hendrix, as Peyton Refling finally got in the scoring column, with Graham & Thacker adding goals in the third. Refling would add the lone & final goal in the fourth to give the Warriors the 9-3 win.

Addey Bolz ended the game with 10 saves.

6-2 is the best start in program history for the Warriors, with Hendrix going 5-3 in 2018. The Warriors offense is off to a hot start, with 93 goals being scored and 4 players in double-digit points on the season.

The Warriors start conference play with a trip to Danville, KY to take on the Centre Colonels. Game is expected to start at 10:00 AM CT / 11:00 AM ET.
