Gladewater, Texas - The Hendrix Golf program kicked off their season with a trip to Texas to compete in the Tempest Intercollegiate hosted by LeTourneau University. 

The men finished 8th of 12 while the ladies finished 8th of 8. 

William Baker finished T15th for his first Top 15 finish of the season, shooting a three round score of 226 (79,71,76), including -1 in the second round. Oliver Naumann finished T23rd with a three round score of 229 (76,74,79). Michael Young finished T41st with a total score of 234 (79,77,78). Tyler Morton finished T48th with a total score of 239 (81,78,80). George Murray finished 62nd with a total score of 244 (93,79,72). Cole Jones finished 66th with a total score of 252 (89,83,80).

For the ladies, Amber Alsup finished 32nd with a two round score of 176 (90 & 86). Berkley Reed finished 40th with a total score of 179 (95 & 84). Isabella Rodriguez finished 51st with a total score of 194 (99 & 95). Ava Martinez finished 52nd with a total score of 195 (96 & 99). Braelynne Lawler was scratched due to illness.

The ladies will be on the road next competing in the WBU Fall Invitational hosted by Willams Baptist on Sept. 15th-16th.
