Dickson, Tenn.- Going into the final round of the SAA Championships, the Warriors looked to move their names up the leaderboard. The Warriors finished 6th of 7, jumping up one spot on the final day.
William Baker finished T12th, after an up and down back nine which saw him +5 going into the final stretch. Baker would birdie 5 holes to end the front nine -3 to make him +2 for the final day.
Oliver Naumann finished T19th, after shooting even on the back nine, sinking two birdies. The front nine would see Naumann par and bogey two holes, putting him +2 for the day.
Lail Shaw finished 38th, his highest finish of the season after missing the entire fall season due to injury. Shaw played a pretty steady back nine, ending +1 going into the front nine. Shaw would birdie his second hole before 4 straight bogeys would have hime end +4 for the day, tying a season best round.
George Murray finished 40th, after struggling on the back nine with three straight bogeys. Murray would knock down a birdie putt on hole 4, but would end the back nine +4. Murray would play a pretty flawless front nine, knocking down three birdies to end the front nine -1, putting him +3 for the final day.
Michael Young finished 41st, after playing pretty stellar to start the final round. Young would be even to start the back nine until bogeying two of his final three holes, putting him +2 going into the front nine. Young would birdie two of his first four holes on the front nine to bring him E before struggling on the final few holes. Young would birdie his final hole to put him +2 and end the day +4.
Deqlyn Buttrey finished 42nd, after starting off slow on the first two holes on the back nine but would par his next three holes and then birdie the next hole. Buttrey would bogey two of the final three holes to end the back nine +4. Buttrey would par and bogey the front nine, shooting +5 to end the day +9.
Ava Reyes would finished T24th, after getting to a slow start to begin the final day. Reyes would double two of the first three holes before getting settled in, shooting +6 to end the front nine. Reyes would end the back nine +6, to end the day +12.
Amber Alsup finished 28th, Alsup had a steady start paring 6 of her first nine holes to end +4 on the front nine. Alsup would struggle to start the back nine, but would par three holes to put her +15 over for the day.
Gianna Miceli would finish T30th, getting off to a slow start to begin the final day. Miceli would end the front nine +10. Miceli would close the back nine a bit better than the front nine, ending +19 for the day.
