Sherman, Texas - Hendrix faced the perfect storm of poor shooting and an offensive showcase from Austin College on Wednesday night as the Warriors fell 75-43 at Hughey Gymnasium.

The game was originally scheduled for Friday night before the threat of inclement weather pushed the game up to Wednesday, and from the opening tip it seemed as if the Warriors were able to acclimate to the adjusted schedule.

Hendrix shot under 25% from both the field and behind the arc, while the hosts shot a blistering 51.7% from deep on 15-of-29 attempts and were 45.9% from the field.

The 'Roos took an early 11-6 lead at the 6:30 mark in the first frame, but a Bella Cates' triple and a driving layup from Chloey-Rei Brown tied the game at 11-11 before the first media timeout of the contest. From there, the wheels fell off, as two Riley Brady free throws marked the only points the visitors would score for the rest of the half while Austin College scored 13 points over the last 3:45 to take a 26-13 lead into the second period.

The Warriors went into halftime trailing 43-25, but any hopes for a comeback withered away in the third quarter as Hendrix was outscored 19-4 in that frame as the 'Roos continued to hit timely shots while Hendrix could not muster any momentum whatsoever.

Lyndi Bryan led the Warriors with 8 points, while Brady's double-double streak ended with 7 points and 16 boards. Brown also finished with 7 points.

Hendrix (8-7, 4-3 SCAC) remains on the road to square off with the University of Dallas in Irving on Thursday evening at the Maher Center.
