HOUSTON, Texas - The 2026 regular season came to an end for the Hendrix men's soccer program on Sunday afternoon with a 1-0 loss to St. Thomas at SaberCat Stadium.
The Celts went ahead just before the midway point of the first half and were able hold Hendrix goalless for the entire 90 minutes. The Warriors registered 12 shots on the afternoon, with a third of those shots on frame.
Tripp Ortega was able to win a corner with under five minutes remaining, but Hendrix was unable to capitalize off of the set piece in search of a late equalizer.
Over the course of regulation, Hendrix generated several attacking opportunities that were eventually waved off due to the offside flag.
On the defensive end, Cam Joniec made seven saves in the match and faced 13 shots overall.
Hendrix finishes the season 5-10-1 (3-6 SCAC) with 9 points in the league, narrowly missing out on a top-six finish and an SCAC tournament berth.
