Conway, Ark. (3/21/2026) – The Warriors played host this weekend for SCAC foes LeTourneau University and the University of St. Thomas (TX) where the Warriors went 2-0 to move to 9-4 on the year and 5-0 in SCAC play, the best start for Hendrix over the last 15 years.
LeTourneau, (W, 7-0):
The Warriors won the doubles with wins by

James Thomson (6-0) and
Maximilian Henderson /
Robinson Wright (6-2).
Wesley McClure won the #1 Singles 6-1, 6-1.
James Thomson followed suit by winning the #2 Singles 6-3, 6-1.
Maximilian Henderson won the #3 Singles 6-7, 3-7, 6-4, 6-4.
Santiago Perez won the #4 Singles 7-6, 7-4, 6-0.
Jaako Keulen won the #5 Singles 6-4, 7-5.
Matias Ancieta secured the sweep winning the #6 Singles, 6-2, 7-6, 7-3.
St. Thomas, (W, 5-2):
The Warriors were unable to capture the doubles point with McClure and Thomson capturing the lone doubles win (6-2).
Hendrix would go on a run to win five of the six singles matches to win the match 5-2.
Wesley McClure won the #1 Singles 7-5, 6-1.
James Thomson won the #2 Singles 6-1, 6-0.
Santiago Perez won the #4 Singles 6-2, 6-3.
Robinson Wright won the #5 Singles 6-4, 6-2.
Matias Ancieta would close out the match with a win in the #6 Singles 6-4, 6-2.
Hendrix is off to its best start in over 15 years and best conference record in that time span as well. The Warriors are set to travel to Colorado College on March 28
th.
