MTEN | Warriors Dominant in Road Wins

Sherman, Texas (April 11th, 2026) - The Warriors traveled down to Texas this weekend to take on the University of Dallas and Austin College in the final regular season road trip of the season. The Warriors were victorious in both matches, winning 7-0 in both. The Warriors are 7-1 in SCAC play and are tied for second in SCAC standings. 
 
University of Dallas (W, 7-0): 
Hendrix defeated the University of Dallas 7-0 on Friday. The Warriors swept all three doubles matches and secured victories in all six singles matches.

Hendrix secured the doubles point decisively with victories at all three positions. Wesley McClure and James Thomson opened the competition with a dominant 6-0 win over Christian DeLira and Aidan Nguyen at No. 1 doubles. Following suit, Jesse Koeleman and Cason Cole captured a 6-3 victory against Gabriel Alfaro and Wheeler Ehrlich at No. 2 doubles. The No. 3 doubles match was won by default, further solidifying Hendrix's early advantage.

In singles play, the Warriors continued their commanding performance. McClure defeated DeLira 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, quickly followed by Thomson securing a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Alfaro at No. 2 singles. The clinching point came from Cole at No. 3 singles, where he bested Nguyen 6-1, 6-3, giving the Warriors a 4-0 lead.

Santiago Perez extended the lead with a straight sets win, 6-0, 6-0, against Ehrlich at No. 4 singles. Christian Durham contributed to the scoreline with a 6-1, 6-1 result over Juan Bustamante at No. 5 singles. The No. 6 singles match was won by default, cementing the Warriors' comprehensive sweep with a final score of 7-0.

Hendrix defeated the Austin College 7-0 on Saturday. The Warriors won two out of the three doubles matches and secured victories in all six singles matches.

Hendrix secured the doubles point decisively with victories at the #1 and #3 positions. Wesley McClure and James Thomson opened the competition with a dominant 6-1 win over Cameron McIver and Timothy Wallace at No. 1 doubles. Following suit, Jackson Haynes and Santiago Perez captured a 6-0 victory against Joel Colunga and Jace Warner at No. 2 doubles.

McClure defeated McIver 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, quickly followed by Thomson securing a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Colunga at No. 2 singles.
