SUWANEE, Ga. - The Hendrix men's soccer program was picked to finish seventh in the SCAC Preseaon Poll in exclusive voting conducted among the league's ten head coaches.
Hendrix is coming off one of its best years in program history, going 7-3-1 in the SCAC during an 8-7-3 campaign that concluded with a berth to the SCAC tournament.
Hendrix men's soccer enters into its next era in 2026 with the appointment of Bobby Peters as head coach, but it will not be without familiar faces. The Warriors return six starters from last year's XI, including
Josh Montgomery and
Tripp Ortega, who led the line for Hendrix in 2025 and combined for 28 points.
Hendrix kicks off the 2026 season with an away match in Batesville versus in-state foe Lyon on September 1. The home slate begins on September as the Warriors host former Southern Athletic Association rivals Rhodes for a 6:00 PM start at Warrior Soccer Field. League play begins on October 2 when the Warriors host Colorado College.
