CONWAY, Ark. — The Hendrix men's and women's cross country programs started their seasons on Saturday morning at the UCA Invitational at Beaver Fork Lake. The women finished second as a team, while the men finished fourth out of eight teams.
On the women's side,
Ruby Nichols placed 17th in the 3-mile with a time of 21:01.7 and a score of 8. Lillyann Barnes finished 19th in 21:14.4 and scored 9.
Madeline McClusky placed 25th in 22:54.5 with a score of 13, while
Emily Jones finished 27th in 23:10.6 and scored 15.

Henry Simmons placed 38th in 19:45.3.
