Trennis Grant joined the Hendrix College baseball staff as a volunteer assistant in 2015.

Grant helped the Warriors tie the school record with 23 wins in 2016.

Grant comes to the Warriors after playing at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville for two seasons. He also played at and graduated from Holmes Community in Goodman, Miss.

From Canton, Miss., Grant graduated from Canton High School and played a summer in the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Baseball League in 2012.

Canton is the first member of his family to graduate from college, earning a bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies/Community Outreach from ATU in 2014.

Grant is married to Cierra Fields-Grant and has three children - JaLynn, Ka'Mari and Renee.
