Hendrix College Athletics

John Phillips enters into his third season as a coach at his alma mater after a standout four-year career with the Warriors as a defensive lineman. This will be his second season serving as the defensive line coach, having served as an assistant on the defensive line under head coach Buck Buchanan in his first year on staff.

A native of Argyle, Texas, Phillips graduated from Hendrix in 2021 with a B.A. in History. He is currently pursuing his Master's of Education in Athletic Coaching at Mount Union.
