Tanner Hartsfield '21 enters into his second season as a coach at his alma mater, and his first as Outside Linebacker Coach.
Hartsfield enjoyed a successful career as an inside linebacker (2017-2019). In 2018, he was named All-SAA after recording a team-high 30 solo tackles with 6.5 tackles for loss and a forced fumble. In just three years, he recorded 142 total tackles, and ranks 6th all-time in school history with 82 assisted tackles.
During the 2021 spring season, Hartsfield served as an assistant coach, working with Inside Linebackers, and helped the Warriors to an SAA West title after a 3-0 shortened regular season.
Hartsfield returns to the Warrior coaching staff after spending the fall of 2021 as an assistant coach at Blue Ridge High School in Blue Ridge, Texas.
A native of Howe, Texas, Hartsfield is a graduate of Howe High School. He is currently pursuing his Master's in Accounting at Hendrix.
