High School: Three-time All-State and All-Conference in track and cross country selection for Bryant High School in Arkansas...held BHS two-mile record...team won 7A state title as a junior...best times of 2:00 in 800 meters, 4:39 in 1,600, 9:59 in 3,200 and 16:11 in 5k...member of National Honor Society
