Hendrix College Athletics

Steve Crenshaw enters his second season as a Hendrix assistant men's soccer coach in 2020-21. He became the program's strength and conditioning coach in spring 2020.

In 2019, Crenshaw helped guide Hendrix to an appearance in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Tournament quarterfinals.

As a graduate student, Crenshaw played defender for the Hendrix men's soccer team in 2017 and helped the Warriors reach the SAA Tournament quarterfinals. He appeared in 11 games, starting three. 

Crenshaw played kicker for the Hendrix football team for four seasons (2013-16). In 2013, he connected on a game-winning 25-yard field goal against Westminster (Mo.) as time expired in the program's first game since 1963. As a sophomore, Crenshaw was voted SAA Special Teams Player of the Year after finishing the season 12-of-15 on field goals and 37-of-40 on extra points. He finished his career 30-of-50 on field goals, 177-of-193 on extra points and recorded 222 kickoffs. Crenshaw left Hendrix as the program's all-time leader in made and attempted PATs, made and attempted field goals and ranked second in scoring (267 points).
 
Crenshaw earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 2016 and a Master of Accountancy in 2017, both from Hendrix.
