Jeff Trimble enters his twelfth season as the head coach of the Hendrix College women's soccer program in 2025
In 2024, Trimble led Hendrix to a 6-5-5 record. The Warriors had 5 clean sheets.
2023 was a record breaking season for Trimble's team, finishing with a overall record of 12-7-1. The 12 wins broke the record for most wins in a single season. With a winning record of 4-3 in conference, the team hosted their second SAA home postseason game since 2018. The Warriors finished fourth in the SAA standings.
In 2022, Trimble led the Warriors to a 10-7 overall record, finishing 3-4 in conference, placing 5th in the SAA.
For the 2021 season, Trimble led the team to a record of 8-7-1 for the fall. The eight victories were followed by six shutouts on the season.
In shortened 2020-2021 season, the Warriors went 3-4.
Trimble led the Warriors to a 7-8-5 finish on the 2019 season. The five ties is the most in program history and was at the top, nationally, for most ties for a single program this year. Hendrix finished sixth in the SAA standings but most notably, Hagan Griffith became the program's all-time goal scorer and also earned All-SAA First Team honors.
In 2018, Trimble's Warriors tied the school record with 10 wins and doubled up Hendrix's previous record for most SAA victories with four while also hosting its very-first SAA home postseason game also. The Warriors made it to the SAA semifinals before losing to Centre for the second consecutive postseason. Most notably, Griffith and Evie Cannon earned All-SAA First Team honors.
For the 2017 season, Coach Trimble guided the Warriors all the way to the Southern Athletic Association Tournament Finals; losing a heartbreaker 2-1. Most notably, Hendrix took down the MacMurry Highlanders 7-0. The Warriors recorded 28 shots for the game compared to MacMurry's one shot.
He guided the 2016 Warriors to a school record 11 victories with eight shutouts.
In 2015, Trimble's Warriors tied the school record with 10 wins and recorded eight shutouts. In his first season, he guided the Warriors to eight wins and a sixth place finish in the SAA.
In five seasons, Trimble has coached 27 All-SAA selections and four All-Region picks.
Trimble came to Hendrix after a successful 16-year tenure as the head coach of NCAA Division II powerhouse Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. While with the Mustangs, he was a three-time Lone Star Conference Coach of the Year (1998, 2010, 2013) and was the 2010 NSCAA South Central Region Coach of the Year.
Trimble compiled a 194-101-28 record with MSU, winning four conference titles and finishing in the top four every season. He guided the Mustangs to the NCAA Division II Tournament three times from 2010-13.
At MSU, Trimble coached six All-Americans, 36 All-Region selections and 84 All-Conference picks.
Before becoming the head coach at Midwestern State, Trimble was an assistant with MSU women's team from 1996-97 and a men's assistant from 1994-95. He also served as an assistant coach for Warsaw High School in Indiana in 1994 and for Grace College in Winona Lake, Ind. in 1993.
Trimble was a three-time All-District and All-Conference and two-time NAIA All-American Honorable Mention goalkeeper for Grace. He helped the Lancers to three straight conference titles and earn a national tournament appearance. Trimble still owns the school record for most shutouts in a season with 11.
A native of Greenville, Ohio, Trimble played for Dayton Christian High School and was selected to play on the Ohio Olympic Development Program team following his senior season.
Trimble earned his bachelors degree from Grace in 1993 and a masters in Counseling from Midwestern State in 1999. Jeff and his wife Kelly have three sons - Alec, Evan and Owen.
