Former Hendrix College soccer player Laurie Waters joined head coach Jeff Trimble's women's soccer staff in September 2015.

In 2016, Hendrix broke the program record with 11 victories. She also coached four All-Southern Athletic Association selections.

In her first year on the Warrior staff, Waters helped Hendrix tie the school record with 10 victories. She also coached three All-Southern Athletic Association selections and two All-Region picks.

Waters, from Rome, Ga., played in 66 career games as a midfielder. She made 34 starts and scored one goal with three assists and took 20 shots with eight on goal.

Waters was a four-year letterwinner for Rome High School, where she scored four goals and 13 assists during her career. She was also a two-time varsity letterwinner in swimming. Waters was a member of the National Honor Society and played club for Darlington Soccer Academy.

Waters graduated from Hendrix in 2015 with a degree in Allied Health.
