Hendrix College Athletics

Symone Bennett enters her second season as a Hendrix assistant women's soccer coach in 2020-21.

In 2019, Bennett helped guide the Warriors to a berth in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Tournament quarterfinals. She helped develop one first team All-SAA selection who set the Hendrix single-season and career records for goals in addition to an honorable mention choice.

Hendrix posted a 6-1-2 record at home.

Off the field, 13 Warriors were named to the 2019 SAA Academic Honor Roll.

Bennett played defender for the Warriors for four seasons (2013-16). She appeared in 70 career games, with 63 starts, and totaled two assists while contributing to 22 shutouts.

Off the field, Bennett was twice named to the SAA Academic Honor Roll (2015-16) and to the 2016 SAA All-Sportsmanship Team.

Bennett earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in studio art from Hendrix in 2018. The Kingwood, Texas, native attended Kingwood High School.

Bennett also serves as a Hendrix assistant women's lacrosse coach.
