Kayla Walton joined the Warrior volleyball staff as an assistant coach in August 2015.

Walton comes to Hendrix after stints as a player at both the University of South Florida, where she was a First Team All-Big East performer in 2012 and a two-time Big East All-Academic team member, and Missouri State University, where she was a First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection and an MVC All-Tournament team selection in 2013.  Additionally, she was named to the Missouri State honor roll and Dean’s List and ranks in the top 10 all-time in hitting percentage.

Walton earned her BA in Organizational Communication from USF in 2013 and earned her MS in Sports Administration from Missouri State in 2014.
