Senior Jared Lincoln became an All-American by placing eighth at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships in Geneva, Ohio Saturday. Lincoln, from Atlanta, Texas, had his best throw of the day on his first attempt, clearing 46.75 meters (153 ft.-4 in.). A four-time All-SAA First Team selection and four-time champion in discus, he holds the school record with a mark of 49.99 meters (164 ft.). Lincoln was named to the USTFCCCA All-South/Southeast Region Team earlier in the week.
