Tryouts for the Warrior Dance Team will be held from Monday, Aug. 27 through Thursday, Aug. 30  from 8-10 p.m. The final day of tryouts is set for Friday, Aug. 30 from 5:15 - 6:15 p.m. Tryouts will be held in the Movement Studio, located on the second floor of the Hendrix Wellness and Athletic Center. Bring your insurance card to the first day of tryout clinic. The Warrior Dance Team performs at halftime of all home soccer, basketball and lacrosse games, generates crowd spirit and makes special appearances as requested by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The performance music includes a large range from hip hop to country and the dance style ranges from jazz to pop and rock.

All participants must have their insurance paperwork filled out prior to tryouts and turned in to Laura Ross, Head Athletic Trainer in the Wellness and Athletic Center. This includes a physical for new members. Participants can pick up the paperwork from Andrea Newsom's office located on the first floor of Fausett Hall in the business office.
