CONWAY, Ark. – The Hendrix College women's tennis team lost their spring opener to Harding University 9-0 at home on Monday afternoon.

Madison Schallhorn lost to the Lady Bisons' (2-2) duo of Benyapa Phumptip and Ali Rowden 8-0. Junior
Saranya Prathibha and sophomore
Hannah Smashey fell to Katie Huff and Chelsea Lanier 8-1 at the second spot.
In singles, HU's Kaleigh Wagner defeated Smashey 6-1, 6-1 at the third match-up. Hendrix junior
Caroline Kelley dropped a 6-1, 6-0 decision to Maria Moreno in number five singles.
Hendrix will take on John Brown University at Burns Park in North Little Rock on Friday.
