NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 defeat to Millsaps College in Southern Athletic Association action at Burns Park on Friday. With the win, the Majors improve to 8-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play, while the Warriors fall to 2-6 and 0-3.
At number two doubles, Millsaps tandem Laura Kebert and Bianca Suarez defeated junior Carline Kelley and freshman
Shannon Clark 8-4. Sophomore
Elisa Rivera and freshman Bredna Quintero lost to Anna Brahce and Katherine Wroblewski 8-3 at third doubles.
In singles, Quintero lost to Suarez 6-4, 8-6 in the fourth flight. Freshman
Any Jivan fell to Wroblewski 8-5 in a pro set at number five singles.
Hendrix will be back in action on Apr. 6 when they go to league foe Centre College in Danville, Ky.
