SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Hendrix College women's tennis team lost a pair of Southern Athletic Association matches on the road over the weekend. The Warriors (2-8, 0-5) fell to Centre College (4-7, 2-2) 9-0 on Saturday in Danville, Ky., then lost at #15 Sewanee – University of the South (14-5, 5-0) 9-0 on Sunday.
Against the Colonels, sophomore
Hannah Smashey lost a 6-2, 6-1 second singles decision to Elsie DeCamp. Senior
Arden Brazzeal lost to Katie Howard 6-3, 6-1 at the third spot and freshman
Brenda Quintero 6-2, 6-1 in the sixth flight.

Any Jivan lost 6-3, 6-1 to Mary Catherine Horne of Sewanee in number five singles.
The Warriors will take on LeTourneau University at home on Friday.
