MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Hendrix College volleyball team swept Rhodes College 25-19, 25-16, 25-17 at Mallory-Hyde Gymnasium on Wednesday night.
With the win, the Warriors improve to 19-4 on the year and 6-2 in Southern Athletic Association play. Hendrix is in a three-way tie for second place with Millsaps and Berry and will host first place Birmingham-Southern College (7-1) on Saturday at 11 a.m. The Lynx fall to 4-14 and 0-8.
The Orange & Black hit .207 on the night with 43 kills, five aces, 52 digs and six blocks. Rhodes struggled offensively, hitting -.020 with 16 kills, three aces, 40 digs and six blocks.

Sara Dyslin led the Warrior offense with 10 kills to go with three blocks. Sophomore

Lauren Petrisin each had nine kills and sophomore right side
Natalie Masten had eight kills while hitting .412. Sophomore setter
Holyn Duyck recorded 20 assists and sophomore
Allison Gaia added 18 assists and nine digs.

Felicia Beeman came up with 16 digs and sophomore
MC Rogers had 10. Freshman middle blocker
Kierstin Carr had three blocks.
Elasha Williams led the Lynx with nine kills. Catherine Grimes recorded nine digs.
Hendrix is now one victory away from the program record of 20 set last season.
